Privacy Policy
Effective 26 August 2026 · Last updated 26 August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how DCK AEO collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use https://dckaeo.com and related services.
1. Who we are
DCK AEO (“DCK AEO”, “we”, “us”) operates an Answer Engine Optimization platform. For privacy requests contact [email protected].
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, organisation and website details.
- Billing data: processed by payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Customer content: websites you connect, keywords, business briefs, generated articles, social assets, and related settings.
- Google user data (only if you connect Google): email, basic profile, Search Console property and performance data, and Google Business Profile data you authorise.
- Other integrations: tokens and account identifiers for LinkedIn, Cloudflare, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or similar services you connect.
- Technical data: logs, IP address, browser type, and support correspondence.
3. Google user data and Limited Use
When you click Connect Google, Google OAuth asks you to grant specific scopes. We access only those scopes. Typical uses are selecting a Search Console property, reading search performance for AEO reporting, and (if granted) Google Business Profile information.
Limited Use. DCK AEO’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or ML models. We do not allow humans to read Google user data except (a) with your consent, (b) for security / abuse investigation, or (c) as required by law.
4. How we use data
We process personal data to create and manage accounts, provide AEO features you request, generate and publish content, connect third-party services you authorise, process payments, provide support, secure the platform, and comply with law, including Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
5. Legal bases
Depending on the processing, we rely on performance of a contract, your consent (for example Google OAuth), legitimate interests in operating a secure SaaS platform, and legal obligations.
6. Sharing
We share data with subprocessors needed to run the service (hosting, email, payments, AI providers such as Google Gemini when you use generation features, and platforms you connect). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain account and service data while your account is active and afterwards as needed for backups, disputes, and legal retention. You may request deletion at [email protected]. Disconnecting Google on the Websites page stops ongoing access to that Google account for the selected website.
8. Your rights
Subject to the PDPA and other applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, or withdraw consent for optional processing, by emailing [email protected].
9. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and encrypted storage of integration credentials. No method of transmission is completely secure; we work to reduce risk with reasonable technical and organisational measures.
10. International transfers
Subprocessors may process data outside Malaysia. We take reasonable steps to protect transferred data in line with applicable law.
11. Children
The service is intended for users aged 18 or over and is not directed at children.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy and will publish the current version at https://dckaeo.com/privacy/. Material changes may also be notified in the product or by email.
